Every year, Baylor inducts medical students into the local chapter of the Gold Humanism Society, an international organization that recognizes, supports and promotes the values of humanism and professionalism in medicine.
Outstanding students, trainees and faculty were honored recently with induction into two honor societies – Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Society. These inductions recognize their commitment to compassionate care, service and other valued qualities that place them as leaders among their colleagues and peers.
Medical students and residents at Baylor College of Medicine were honored in April for their commitment to humanism in patient care at the annual Gold Humanism Honor Society Induction Ceremony.
A group of Baylor College of Medicine’s best and brightest, and most compassionate, students and trainees recently were inducted in to two separate medical honor societies – the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha.
