Medical TV shows have captivated audiences for decades, with shocking patient cases and over-the-top hospital drama. Last year, “The Pitt” emerged as a new favorite, praised by many who work in healthcare for its more realistic depiction of medicine.
The College marked a milestone for the Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower, with a preview of the first floor and dedication of the Paul Klotman M.D. Auditorium. The event brought together the Baylor community, including former president Dr. Klotman with new president, CEO and executive dean Dr. Jakub Tolar.
In the School of Medicine, 195 new physicians received their diploma, as well as 10 new counselors from the School of Health Professions’ Genetic Counseling Program. In the Graduate School, 88 students received their Ph.D. and six earned a master’s degree.
Dr. Madeline Chaput and Dr. Levi Peppel graduated from Baylor’s School of Medicine and were commissioned into the U.S. Air Force on May 27.
