The Baylor community was strong at the Walk for Science, Saturday, April 22, in downtown Houston. But Baylor, faculty, staff and trainees participated in several other events in just one weekend! Take a look at some photos for a recap.
Since being honored with the prestigious Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, Baylor’s Dr. Huda Zoghbi has been busy, but not just with her research on Rett Syndrome. These days, she’s also answering the hundreds of emails she received from people around the world, including young children and immigrants, inspired by her and her work.
The 2016 School of Allied Health Sciences commencement took place in early December, with 18 Doctor of Nursing Practice Program students, 19 Orthotics and Prosthetics Program students and 38 Physician Assistant Program students receiving their degrees.
Many in the Baylor community laced up their running (or walking!) shoes recently for good causes. Baylor teams participated in events last month that raised awareness and support for autism, heart health, Alzheimer’s disease and colon cancer.
