How long have you been at BCM? It will be one year at the end of July!

What’s your favorite thing about working at BCM? The people! I love that I get to work with happy, intelligent and motivated individuals.

Where were you born? Houston

What is your favorite kind of food? I’m a native Houstonian, so it’s Tex-Mex for sure.

What is your favorite restaurant in Houston and at that restaurant your favorite dish? This is like choosing my favorite child even though I don’t have kids. The Brussels sprouts at Benjy’s, the wings and waffles at the Breakfast Klub, the caprese salad at Dolce Vita … I could go on.

What’s on your music playlist?  My musical taste is all over the place – Alabama Shakes, Kendrick Lamar, U2, Dolly Parton, Otis Redding and as of late the entire “Big Little Lies” soundtrack.

What is your dream vacation? A tour of Southeast Asia – Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines.

What is your favorite TV show? Currently, it’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” but “Gilmore Girls” is always my go-to.

What are some of your personal hobbies? Yoga, cooking, traveling and happy hour with friends

Last book you read? “Euphoria” by Lily King

Last movie you saw? “Wonder Woman”

Any kids? Pets? My parents have a 10-year-old field spaniel named Ellie. I consider her my pet minus the responsibility of ownership.

Favorite food on campus? Morrison’s red pepper hummus.

Favorite BCM/Medical Center hangout? Our office lunch table – it’s like an episode of “The View.”
