Changing the pediatric cancer landscape in Africa

Earlier this year, Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers, the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative at Texas Children’s Hospital and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation announced a groundbreaking effort to change the pediatric cancer landscape in southern and east Africa through clinical care and training.

O&P student completes third Boston Marathon

Orthotics and prosthetics student Sarah Bradley has been running since high school when she joined the cross country team. She later discovered a passion for marathons and has participated in the pinnacle of long-distance events, the Boston Marathon, three times, including in April 2017.

Student Corner: Community Health Day

Every year, first-year medical students at Baylor head outside the walls of the College for Community Health Day, where they and other organizations offer much needed services. But it’s also a rich learning experience for students. This year’s Community Health Day was March 25 at Ethel Mosley Young Elementary School near the Sunnyside neighborhood.
