The Faculty and Staff of the Year ceremony was held July 30 at the Medical Center Marriott, honoring Baylor faculty and staff for making exceptional contributions to advance the College’s mission and for exemplifying Baylor’s values.
Every quarter, the You FIRST program honors faculty and staff members from throughout the College for their exceptional work. The contributions of these award recipients has directly or indirectly advanced Baylor’s mission and values.

Five Baylor College of Medicine faculty members whose work represents the college’s most significant published scientific contributions to clinical or basic research during the past three years have received the Michael E. DeBakey Excellence in Research Award.
