First-year students at Baylor start their medical school journey with a weeklong orientation where they learn about the College, the curriculum and each other. They end orientation with Community Service Day, offering a glimpse of the needs of the community and the opportunities to help.

Student Corner: Community Health Day

The Baylor College of Medicine Community Health Day was held this February at La Nueva Casa de Amigos. The event is an initiative organized by first-year medical students to provide important health information and services to the Houston community.
