In spring 2026, Baylor’s Center for Teaching and eLearning and Office of Education Effectiveness invited Taekwondo headmaster Hyunhoon Lee to host a faculty workshop aimed at alternative approaches to curriculum design and active learning.
In 2026, student organizations at Baylor College of Medicine and its Houston ISD educational partner BCM Academy at Ryan have created opportunities for young people to become junior scientists, as well as student teachers.
The College marked a milestone for the Lillie and Roy Cullen Tower, with a preview of the first floor and dedication of the Paul Klotman M.D. Auditorium. The event brought together the Baylor community, including former president Dr. Klotman with new president, CEO and executive dean Dr. Jakub Tolar.
Mariam Kundi is an administrative fellow in the Office of the President at Baylor College of Medicine. She was part of the inaugural class at Baylor College of Medicine Academy at Ryan and graduated from DeBakey High School for Health Professions.
Between August 2025 and mid-May 2026, more than 1,660 food bags have been distributed to Baylor students from every school and program. In that same time, the College has hosted seven GRAB Markets by Second Servings.
