Health Hint: Breast cancer screening

Taking care of your health is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Baylor College of Medicine experts have plenty of tips to help you stay healthy. This month’s Health Hint focuses on breast cancer screening.

Annual mammography screening for women starting at 40 to 50 years old remains key in early diagnosis of breast cancer and helps to decrease breast cancer deaths. It’s important to keep up with mammograms and other screenings, even during the pandemic, especially for those with high risk for disease. Please know all of the Baylor Medicine and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center primary care and specialty clinics are open and operating safely. You should feel very comfortable coming to the practice.”
