Health Hint: Thanksgiving nutrition

Taking care of your health is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Baylor College of Medicine experts have plenty of tips to help you stay healthy. This month’s Health Hint offers focuses on the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Everyone chooses to eat their Thanksgiving meal at different times of the day but a good practice is to give yourself time to be awake and get some physical activity in during the day before your meal. Having a few hours between your last or largest meal and the time you go to bed is a benefit as well. Afternoon or early evening is a good time to have that meal.”
