What’s the best thing about being a nurse? There are many great things about being a nurse due to the fact that it is such a diverse career. The ability to make a patient’s day better by being supportive and using my resources to provide the best care possible is one of the many things I love. I find it very rewarding to see a patient improve in their symptoms and able to do activities in their daily life that others may consider minor, such as walking down the hall or climbing up stairs. I also love to provide the leadership to all clinical staff to develop a fun and caring team culture. Anything that I can do to provide support to my team to have structure in their day to day activities is one of my main goals.
