Temple volunteerism: Neha Philip

“Volunteering in the Temple community has helped me feel more connected to the people and the place I’m serving. Through these experiences, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the community’s strengths and its health challenges / needs.”

“This program is unique because we collaborate with community members and provide them with lasting skills, much like how physicians get to educate and incorporate patients into the care plan. The program has helped me understand that listening to patients and meeting them where they are helps create plans that they can adhere to.”
