Before temperatures plummeted and roads iced, several in the Baylor College of Medicine community participated in the Chevron Houston Marathon weekend on Jan. 14. A few runners shared their reasons why with BCM Family.
With days to go before the 51st annual Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon, Baylor College of Medicine would like to celebrate its runners who have trained for months and will lace their shoes to run their race on Jan. 15.
Dr. Irvin Sulapas, assistant professor of family and community medicine at Baylor and primary care sports medicine physician, had a full day at the Chevron Houston Marathon in January, first running the half marathon and then volunteering at the medical tent. He discusses his experience in this Q&A.
