For 45 years, Elizabeth Barrick has called Houston home, and for most of that time, she has been a dedicated and valued member of the Baylor College of Medicine team.
Using frontline medicine in wake of Harvey
As floodwaters from Hurricane Harvey rose, heroes emerged to help the community any way they could. For some, it was rescues by boats and large vehicles. Still others, like Todd Kielman, physician assistant and instructor in the Department of Urology and an Army veteran, lent their expertise at shelters for evacuees.
