Using frontline medicine in wake of Harvey

As floodwaters from Hurricane Harvey rose, heroes emerged to help the community any way they could. For some, it was rescues by boats and large vehicles. Still others, like Todd Kielman, physician assistant and instructor in the Department of Urology and an Army veteran, lent their expertise at shelters for  evacuees.

Welcome new students!

It’s August, and that means there are lots of new faces around the halls of Baylor College of Medicine. New medical school and graduate school students started July 31, with both groups being welcomed at new-student orientations.
