  • Tart apples

Directions

  • Choose tart or mixed tart and sweet apples.
  • In a covered pot with no additional liquid and on low heat, cook until soft and falling apart.
  • If left intact, they are baked apples. My Poppy used to love these with cream.
  • If riced, you have apple sauce.
