Kahlúa Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (without instant pudding in mix)
  • 1 large box of chocolate instant pudding
  • 1 cup oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup Vodka
  • ¼ cup Kahlúa

For the glaze

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup Kahlúa

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Combine liquid ingredients in a separate bowl – whisk lightly.
  • Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and beat on high for 4 minutes.
  • Pour into an oil-sprayed bundt pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Do not open the oven door during this time. Once baked, let cool for 10 minutes, then turn on the plate.

Directions for glaze

  • Prepare while the cake is baking.
  • In a small bowl, combine the Kahlúa and powdered sugar.
  • When the cake is out of the oven, pour the mixture on the cake while it is still warm.
