Fresh Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12-oz package of fresh cranberries
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

Directions

  • Rinse cranberries.
  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook 12 minutes or until cranberries pop.
  • Remove from heat and cool completely.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Makes about 3 cups
