Everyone’s Favorite Corn Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can creamed corn
  • 1 (15-ounce) can whole-kernel corn, undrained
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup cornbread mix
  • 1/2 stick butter

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
  • Melt butter in bottom of a 9- or 10-inch deep-dish pie plate or a casserole dish to grease dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine creamed corn, whole corn, sugar, eggs, cornbread mix and melted butter. Mix well.
  • Pour batter into dish.
  • Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted in center of casserole comes out clean.
  • Recipe can easily be doubled.
