Students in Baylor’s School of Allied Health Sciences were recognized for their achievements at three annual end-of-year events – the J. David Holcomb Allied Health Student Research Day, the Allied Health Awards Ceremony and 2015 Commencement.

Medical students with an interest in oncology are making an impact on the Baylor community and beyond through their new group, BCM Students Against Cancer.
Medical students Jennifer Lee, Diana Whitney, Peter Yeh and Christine Ogugbuaja have been selected as members of the 2015-2016 class of Albert Schweitzer Fellows from the Houston-Galveston area. They will work on yearlong projects that address community health needs.
First-year students at Baylor start their medical school journey with a weeklong orientation where they learn about the College, the curriculum and each other. They end orientation with Community Service Day, offering a glimpse of the needs of the community and the opportunities to help.
