For many, the summer is a time for rest and relaxation after a busy academic year. Many do that by traveling abroad and immersing themselves in different cultures. For Dr. Eleonora Bartoli, assistant professor of neurosurgery, the summer brought a healthy mix of work, play and travel.
Growing up in a Filipino-American family, Christopher Hayden Cox was taught to be proud of who he is and where he comes from. And that’s the root of Pride Month for the clinical research nurse at Baylor College of Medicine.
There are multiple initiatives at Baylor College of Medicine aimed at helping employees, faculty trainees and students lead healthier lives, and many fall under the umbrella of BCM Well-Being, Baylor’s centralized internal function for primary well-being initiatives.
In Texas alone, there are 1.6 million veterans.
