Six Baylor College of Medicine faculty members whose work represents the college’s most significant published scientific contributions to clinical or basic research during the past three years have received the Michael E. DeBakey Excellence in Research Award.
Baylor students and faculty who perform with the TMC Orchestra have extolled the benefits they receive from being part of the group. In May, a team of Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital volunteers traveled to Antigua, Guatemala, on a medical mission through the organization Faith in Practice. The team was led by Dr. Nancy Glass, professor of pediatrics – anesthesiology, and included surgeons, physicians, dentists, nurses, a physical therapist, a team administrator and others.
